Ok, you've booked your boudoir shoot. Now it's time to figure out looks. With boudoir photos, it's important to incorporate some versatility into the looks. Sexy is always great, but it's fun to mix things up a little with playful, cozy looks as well. Here's some creative suggestions on boudoir photo shoot looks that will give your shoot that perfect playful and sexy hybrid!

The Sexy Look:

You have to go all about with at least one super sexy look for your boudoir shoot. Nothing screams sexy quite like lace does. Consider wearing a matching lace bra + panties set or a lace bodysuit for your super sexy look. You can even accessorize this look a little by adding in stockings, a garter belt, or some dramatic jewelry. 

The Playful Look:

Sexy is great, but you also want to highlight other aspects of your personality in the boudoir shoot - so make sure to include a playful look! Silk pajama sets, cute nightgowns, or even cut-off jean shorts paired with a cute bra make for really amazing boudoir looks. You could even throw your hair in a ponytail to change things up even more.

The Bridal Look: 

If you are doing this shoot as a gift for your wedding day, you HAVE to do a bridal look. You could opt for an all white lingerie set paired with the shoes and jewelry you plan to wear on your wedding day. Veils photograph incredibly well, so definitely make sure to bring yours to your boudoir shoot. If you're not wearing a veil, you can even pick up white tulle at a craft store to use in your photo shoot or snag a cheap veil on amazon. They help create a very ethereal feel.

The Cozy Look:

Everyone needs a cozy boudoir look! This look is super sexy and helps conceal a little bit, so it flatters every body type. Just wear a basic bra + panties and put your favorite cozy sweater on top! You can even go topless for a few photos with this look.

The Personal Look:

Make your boudoir shoot personal by including something of your significant other's in the shoot. Sports jerseys, button down shirts, or hats are all really fun things to include in a boudoir shoot that make it feel more meaningful.

Just Sheets:

No boudoir shoot is complete without some "just sheets" shots. You can go completely nude or wear a thong. Grab a fresh pair of white sheets and drape them around you in various poses for some insanely sexy and simple boudoir photos.
